Description: SA LPPL Enclosures

Richards Electric Motor Co. has been designing and fabricating Industrial and Commercial Electrical Control Panels and Automation Systems for a multitude of industries/applications for over 40 years.

Application:
Designed to house electrical equipment and provide protection from dirt, dust, oil, and water and to house most standard type disconnects. For outdoor application, a drip shield is recommended.

Construction:

  • 0.075 In. carbon steel.
  • Seams continuously welded and ground smooth.
  • Flange trough collar around all sides of the door opening.
  • Concealed hinges.
  • Removable print pocket furnished if height and width of the enclosure are 24 inches or more.
  • Pour in place oil & water-resistant gasket
  • Collar studs 3/8-16 provided for mounting optional panels.
  • Cutouts provided in flange for mounting disconnect operating handle.
  • Ground stud on the door.
  • Black zinc die-cast coin proof/padlocking handle.
  • External mounting provision top and bottom of the back.

Finish:

ANSI-61/RAL 7035 GRAY gray powder coating inside and out.
